First Look Studios announces DVD release
of Official 2006 Sundance Film Festival Selection
SUBJECT TWO
Starring Dean Stapleton and Christian Oliver
Street Date: July 18, 2006

Los Angeles, CA -- Bill Bromiley, Senior Vice President, Sales and Distribution, Home Entertainment of First Look Studios, announced the DVD release of the 2006 Sundance Film Festival selected horror/suspense tale, Subject Two starring Dean Stapleton and Christian Oliver. In stores July 18, 2006 on DVD.

Subject Two, written and directed by Philip Chidel premiered in the “Park City at Midnight” category at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. The story takes place high atop the Rocky Mountains, where a visionary scientist embarks on a journey to change medical history and ultimately human mortality. Dr. Vick is a young, ambitious man of science…determined to unlock the mysteries of life and death. While there an unwitting medical student assistant, Adam Schmidt joins the doctor in the remote laboratory where they engage in controversial and gruesome research. Soon after, Adam realizes he is more than the assistant, he is the subject.

Subject Two is a modern take on the classic Frankenstein tale of horror and madness from the mind of one man. Can life be created from death? Is death truly the last stop? Subject Two attempts to find out the answers to these questions and much more.
