Robert Towne, Everybody Loves Raymond's Phil Rosenthal & Co., Bewitched’s Nora & Delia Ephron Close Out Spring Storyteller Series
Revised Ticket Package Available for Final 3 Programs
With only 14 days separating the final three programs of the Writers Guild Foundation's Spring Storyteller Series, a new, revised ticket offer is now available for those interested. Also added for these events is a wine and dessert reception immediately following each program in the Writers Guild Theater lobby. All programs start at 7:30pm.
Academy Award® winner Robert Towne, author of the noir classic, Chinatown, begins the three-part series next Thursday, May 26. The following Thursday, June 2, will feature Emmy Award winner and Everybody Loves Raymond creator Phil Rosenthal, and his lineup of zany comedian writers in a special comedy event.
On the heels of the recent Raymond series finale and a record viewing audience, Rosenthal & Co. present their traveling comedy program, "Inside the Writers Room," which shows first hand how their real-life experiences translated into classic comedy fare. The writing panel, composed mostly of seasoned stand-up comedians, has been an audience hit at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado, the Museum of Television and Radio, and just last week before a packed house at the historic Count Basie Theater in Red Bank, New Jersey.
Closing out the series on June 7 are Academy Award® nominee Nora Ephron and her collaborator sister Delia Ephron appearing just two weeks before the opening of their highly anticipated film, Bewitched.
The three-part series is as follows:
Thursday, May 26 –Robert Towne. Academy Award® winner for the classic, Chinatown, Towne's illustrious career also includes The Last Detail, Shampoo, Mission: Impossible (I & II), The Firm and many other big screen favorites. Moderator: F.X. Feeney. Wine & dessert reception from Stevenot Winery.
Thursday, June 2 – Inside the Writers' Room of Everybody Loves Raymond with creator Phil Rosenthal and his award-winning writing staff. Moderator: Charlie Hauck (Home Improvement). Wine & dessert reception from Bianchi Vineyards.
Tuesday, June 7 – Nora and Delia Ephron. Co-writing sisters behind the comedy hits Michael, You've Got Mail, Hanging up and the upcoming Bewitched. Academy Award® nominated Nora Ephron wrote or co-wrote Silkwood, When Harry Met Sally, and Sleepless in Seattle, among other hits. Moderator F.X. Feeney. Wine and dessert reception from Laetitia Vineyard and Winery.
