Hollywood, CA -- Find the Funny, the first entertainment resource on the web just for comedy screenwriting, announces the Top Ten Comedy Horror Films. GHOSTBUSTERS, the 1984 classic, directed by Ivan Reitman and starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Sigourney Weaver, and Rick Moranis was ranked #1. Following GHOSTBUSTERS in the top three were: BEETLEJUICE (#2) and YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN (#3). “To be included on the list,” Find the Funny President Rosa Graham stated, “a film had to have a monster and had to be funny, too. We had lots to choose from.” Often overlooked on awards night, the Top Ten Comedy Horror Films honors those writers, directors, producers and actors who contributed to these comedy horror classics. EVIL DEAD II (1987) THE FIND THE FUNNY AWARDS As part of its continuing efforts to acknowledge and honor the craft of comedy screenwriting, Find the Funny also hosts the annual Find the Funny Awards on April Fool’s Day.
