To assist you in creating an opportunity to present your best material to film production companies for the sole purpose of enhancing the quality of what appears on the great silver screen.

Notification Date: October, 2007

Eligibility: Open to all writers.
Rules:
  • All genres accepted.
  • Submitted screenplays must be original works, the sole property of the applicant and not previously produced, optioned or sold.
  • The screenplay must be between 80 and 125 pages in length.
  • Please send one copy of your script. The title page should include author name, address, telephone number and email address (if applicable).
  • Must be in standard screenplay format, 3-hole punched, typed and bound.
  • Each applicant will receive feedback on their submissions.
  • Deadline: Postmarked no later than August 07, 2007.
  • Each entry must be accompanied with the (US $50.00) entry fee and application form. If using a money order, please make sure it is able to be redeemed in Canada.
  • Material and entry fee should be mailed to: T. Shaw, 312-125 West 18th Street, North Vancouver, BC V7M1W5
  • Submissions will not be returned, do not send us your original copy of script. We want you to be protected, consider registering your screenplay with the WGA. It is not expensive and certainly worth the effort.
