Other Awards/Prizes: Return airfare to Hollywood, 4 nights hotel, short produced with production team and 1 Intel notebook.

1 runner up will also receive an Intel Centrino notebook computer, and 20 contestants chosen at random will receive copies of The Movies: Stunts & Effects PC game from Activision.

Starting on June 12th, participants may write a script or submit a compelling video pitch about the 3-5 minute machinima movie they’d like to create. The top two scripts or videos will be selected by community votes. The two Grand Prize winners will receive an all-expense paid roundtrip to Hollywood for 5 days and 4 nights, and a high-end Intel Centrino notebook! The winners will have their story made into a machinima movie with the help of the Machinima.com production team. Finally, the entire production process and winners’ experiences will be documented for a “making of” video, capturing the production for each movie that will be done throughout various Hollywood locations using a notebook.
Notification Date: August 10, 2006.

Eligibility: Legal US residents, 18 +, & available for travel at the time of filmmaking period chosen by the Sponsor & have Internet access.
Rules: MAll entries (submissions) must be submitted via upload on the Web Site between 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time ("PT") June 12, 2006 and ends 11:59 p.m. PT on July 26, 2006 ("Entry Period").

Submissions must incorporate the following guidelines:

Submit/upload one or both of the following:

A script (screenplay), no more than 5 typewritten pages, in PDF, DOC, or TXT (with line breaks) format, maximum file size of 100 kb. Final movie running time must be no more than five (5) minutes. (See FAQ for assistance on screenplay formatting.)

A video recording (in WMV, MOV or AVI format, maximum file size of 30 mb) of a "pitch" which tells or demonstrates the concept, story, characters, and plot of the entry, which will later be converted to a screenplay.
