The winner will receive a prize
package worth over $1500, including free admission to Jeff’s
Screenwriting Intensive ($395 value), where the winning screenplay
will be used as a model, as Jeff applies the development tools
that are illustrated in his book "Writing A Great Movie."
The script doctoring and coverage
obtained during this two-day Intensive are worth over $500 alone.
The winner will also receive a private script consultation with
Jeff ($100 value), a one-hour session with one of the FTX WEST
pitching consultants ($120 value) and a copy of Final Draft 7
($300 value).
The four runner-ups will receive
free admission to the FTX WEST Great Canadian PitchFest, a 50%
discount on Jeff’s Screenwriting Intensive and a one-hour session
with a script consultant of their choice. Total value: $600! |

FTX WEST 2006 wants to give one lucky screenwriter the opportunity
to have their script developed by screenwriting guru Jeff Kitchen
during his 2-day Screenwriting Intensive in Vancouver, BC! Jeff
will personally choose the winner from the top five scripts
submitted, then, it’s off to the races.
Jeff Kitchen has been a script consultant for almost 20 years. He
offers comprehensive feedback, reinforcing the strengths and
correcting the weaknesses in your screenplay. His specialty is
deep structure. He articulates script problems that you have a
hard time nailing down and helps you create working solutions.
FTX West is proud to offer his Masterclass during our
Screenwriters Series and want to give screenwriters the
opportunity to have his or her script used as Jeff's model during
the two-day intensive.
