The ONE IN TEN SCREENPLAY CONTEST, a screenplay contest dedicated to the positive portrayal of gays and lesbians (And the GLBTQ community as a whole) in film has just announced the 2003, fifth anniversary contest winners.
Executive Director and contest founder, David Jensen, "It has been amazing to watch this contest grow from just thirty scripts to over 200 this year, all in only five years. The quality of the material has been amazing the last two years and Hollywood has come knocking with requests from studios, producers, and agents to review the winning scripts as well as requests to assist with judging. We are also very active in promoting the winning material. I make several trips to Hollywood every year seeking out new avenues to promote the winning scripts, past and present. Gay material is HOT currently."
