Debralee Scott Management, NYC, signs, Jake & Sirena Mazzone as their
exclusive manager. Shortly after a brief meeting, Adrienne Mazzone received
an email from Debralee Scott saying, "I simply loved your kids. Yes, I
would like to represent them."
Debralee Scott, does the name ring a bell? How about a school bell, such as
the one that rang in the ABC-TV's 1970's hit series, "Welcome Back Kotter".
Roselie "Hotzie" Totzie was the character Debralee portrayed in this sitcom
that launched her acting career . "Welcome Back Kotter", considered a
classic, with many of their sayings like, "Up Your Nose With A Rubber Hose!"
and special laughing from Horshak , played by Ron Palillo who she also
represents. Debralee shortly found herself on many sets, such as "Mary
Hartman, Mary Hartman", "Police Academy" I & III, television series "Angie"
and the film "Pandemonium", just to name a few.
Debralee has another role that of a manager. She has taken her entertainment
experience and is now making Jake & Sirena Mazzone's desire more of a
reality. Jake & Sirena Mazzone have been in HBO's Hit Series, "The
Sopranos", "Law & Order, Special Victims Unit", USA's "Criminal Intent", and
films, "Riding In Cars With Boys" starring Drew Barrymore, directed by Penny
Marshall, as well as TV pilots, documentaries and independent films--which
earned them an award at the Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival, the same film,
entitled "Harvest" directed by Matthew Ogens, starring Sirena Mazzone was
also a winner of The Rosebud Film Festival.
Jake & Sirena Mazzone started their careers in modeling and worked their way
up. These little actors have that knack and it's a family trait. Their
grandfather, Thomas J. Madden, formerly VP of NBC-TV and author of "Spin Man"
and "King of the Condo" has recently completed a screenplay entitled, "Guest
House". Jake & Sirena's mother, Adrienne Mazzone, the publicist for
ActingWorld.com, will be involved in launching several projects which Jake &
Sirena will be a focus:
1) the printed version of the Acting World Talent Directory
2) Acting World Magazine for New York performers
3) an upcoming production by Acting World Films
Jake, 10, and Sirena, 7, are up and coming. Debralee Scott has
already begun knocking on doors to talk about these "kids of today and
tomorrow!" |
