HOLLYSHORTS ANNOUNCES CALL FOR ENTRIES FOR THIRD ANNUAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL

Hollywood, CA -- The organizers of HollyShorts announced today the official call for entries for the third annual HollyShorts, Short Film Festival, which takes place in Hollywood , August 10-12, 2007. The announcement was made by festival Director Dan Sol.

“On the heels of last year’s HollyShorts, which featured 53 of the best short films from around the world, we are looking forward to a strong slate of submissions for the third annual event,” said Sol. “With great industry support such as Women in Film, which last year donated a $2500 studio rental package from Casablanca Studios in Palm Springs to Daniele Ferraro for her outstanding work in the short film Dirty Mary, this year’s festival is poised to be fantastic and feature some most talented filmmakers.”

All short films must be 30 minutes or under. Categories include Short Live Action, Short Animation, Short Documentary and Student Short. Filmmakers are encouraged to submit their short films through Withoutabox
