HOLLYSHORTS ANNOUNCES CALL FOR ENTRIES FOR 2006 SHORT FILM FESTIVAL!

Los Angeles, CA -- The organizers of HollyShorts have announced the call for entries for the 2nd annual HollyShorts, Short Film Festival, which will take place this year at the world renowned Cinespace: Digital Super Club and Lounge in Hollywood.

Submissions in all categories are now being accepted by the festival and applicants can submit via Withoutabox.com.

"This is an exciting time for us and we are anticipating some great short films for the second annual HollyShorts, Short Film Festival," says Dan Sol, Festival co-Producer for HollyShorts. The inaugural HollyShorts, Short Film Festival drew standing room crowds, showcasing short films from around the globe. Acclaimed short films included "Dick (The Short)," "Bluff Point," "The King of K-Town," "Y Nada Mas," and "Husk." Several of the showcased shorts are in discussions to be developed into feature films.

Works shot in any format will be accepted for screening. If your film is selected, we will work with you to ensure the best screening format.

Films and videos submitted to the Festival will be considered for both Competitive and non-competitive categories (determined by Festival Committee).
