Indigenous Media Arts Group’s 7th Annual Aboriginal Film and Video Festival is calling for submissions for 2005. IMAGeNation, the west’s biggest Indigenous film festival wants to see your works of short dramas, short documentaries, experimental videos, video art, animations, music videos, feature length films & documentaries. Our theme this festival, Indigenous Inter FACES.

Another category we are accepting for this year is for the independent television production program. This is for all those TV producers who make great work. There will be an award for this, as well as for outstanding works in Directing, Producing, Cinematography, Scriptwriting, and Musical Score and more!

For this year’s events we will be adding an industry soiree with an awards ceremony and panel discussions on co-producing and distribution. An addition to our festival’s regular programming a feature program entitled ”Shared Vision” that will be featuring a different culture every year. This year’s Shared Vision will be featuring the Latino/Hispanic videos and films curated by Cristina Venegas, Professor of Latino Film Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
