Nashville Film Festival Call For Entries
Picked by MovieMaker Magazine as one of "20 Film Festivals Worth The Entry Fee" in its Winter 2004 edition.
Nashville Film Festival (NaFF) proudly announces its 36th international competition for features, shorts, documentaries, animation, experimental work, music videos and young filmmaker videos.
The Festival also features archival screenings, workshops, panel discussions, music showcases, vendor and product expo, and guest appearances by nationally recognized film and video artists. All styles, genres and lengths of films are accepted.
Top Prize - Features
The Regal Cinemas/Nashville Film Festival Dreammaker Award, entitles the winning 35mm feature film to a week's run in a Los Angeles County Regal Cinema. The L.A. screening qualifies the film for Academy Award consideration. (Films must not have acquired U.S. distribution to qualify for this award.)
Top Prize - Shorts and Animation
First prizes in the Short Narrative and Animation categories qualify the winning films for Academy Award consideration.
Special Music Films in Music City Awards
Nashville Film Festival celebrates Music City's heritage with unique music and film awards: Best Music In a Feature Film sponsored by BME, to recognize particularly effective or innovative uses of music, whether through original score, imaginative musical arrangements, or songs in a feature; Impact of Music Award, for the film (feature or documentary) that most effectively explores or celebrates the impact of music on the human experience; Best Music Video sponsored by Opus Entertainment; and Best Nashville-Produced Music Video.
