British writer and Producer Stuart Craig Fawcett is considering ressurecting Innocent Betrayal, a screenplay he co-wrote with fellow Canadian scribe Steve Goldsworthy.

Fawcett quotes, " Back in late 2005 and 2006 Innocent Betrayal was almost financed. I was co-producing it with Kim Leggatt, Jacqueline Swanson and using some leading UK and Canadian Film Financiers and Sales Agents."

The project is a suspense thriller and had already attracted some well known talent and a hot UK director.

"We had Cary Elwes interested," Fawcett adds, " along with Eric Styles who is one of our leading directors in this country. He's head hunted in Hollywood now so I'm hoping to approach him and entice him back on board. The major stumbling block many film makers have is the question of financing. The structure has changed and its harder to get the right people on board at the right time. But I'm optimistic."

Fawcett is hoping to co-produce again under his Original Six banner fronted by Steve Orton. "However", Fawcett adds, "I'm considering setting up a company away from Original Six. I'm always looking for change and welcome any fellow producers to look at some projects I have on the table."
