Minneapolis Film Company Renovates Warehouse
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Bradford Entertainment, Inc., (BEI) a premiere audio, video, and film production company, has begun renovation to convert an 11,000 square foot warehouse, into a professional movie studio.
The space includes an isolated video control room, a 2,100 square foot green screen, a recording studio for mixing soundtracks and foley, with a “new toy” - the 88-channel Otari 54P mixing console, originally installed at George Lucas’ Skywalker Sound. BEI also houses a conference room for important negotiations, with a 65-inch widescreen monitor for viewing dailies.
The studio is designed for producing anything from short films, to music videos, to full-length features. BEI intends to use the space for their own projects, specifically films that are important to Minnesota, as well as co-production opportunities with other filmmakers.
“We’ve made a lot of progress over the last six weeks, and it’s coming along quickly,” says President and CEO, Bradford Thompson.
Bradford’s goal for completion of the renovation is August 1, 2006. To meet this goal, BEI needs to raise $1,500,000 for additional equipment, construction materials, and labor. Bradford is seeking funds from corporate sponsors and investors for upcoming feature film projects. This investment/sponsorship opportunity is designed for worldwide exposure and increased brand awareness for corporations of all kinds.
