Louisiana Cinema City Studios will help grow state film production business with state-of-the-art studio north of New Orleans

New Orleans, LA -- Louisiana Entertainment Associates, LLC announced today the acquisition of a 150+ acre plot and plans for Louisiana Cinema City Studios, a state-of-the-art entertainment complex, including eight Hollywood-style soundstages and four broadcast stages. The complex is the first professional sound stage to be built in Louisiana and will be located within 35 minutes of the New Orleans International Airport.

The entertainment complex will boast a post-production facility including a film laboratory, production offices as well as a five star suite hotel, several restaurants, shops, a multiplex theater, day-care center and health club. The stages will range in size from 18,000sf to over 38,000 square feet with the ability to combine multiple stages to create one of the largest sound stages in the world with grids heights adjustable up to 40 feet.

Louisiana Entertainment Associates, LLC is helmed by film production veterans Alfredo Leone and Robert E. DiMilia. The duo has been involved separately in the production of more than 35 films over the last 60 aggregate years. Leone, who has extensive experience in the foreign market is confident that he can draw overseas productions to Louisiana because of the state's aggressive film production incentive program.

"This complex is the missing ingredient in Louisiana's ever expanding film program which will not only benefit the state but also filmmakers from all over the world", commented Leone. "We are building a whole community where film production can flourish, all under one umbrella," added DiMilia. "The Louisiana Cinema City Studios will match the finest production facilities anywhere in the world and offer an incentive package with no rivals."
