Network Highlights Its Sho Exposure Banner Programming

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Get a double dose of documentaries in December as Showtime Networks celebrates a year of films from its newest programming category "SHO EXPOSURE." Each Tuesday in December, beginning at 9 p.m. ET/PT, a double feature will air on SHOWTIME with such recent hits as "Bowling for Columbine" and "Step into Liquid." The films are part of an on-going programming banner, SHO EXPOSURE, which offers viewers a new documentary program each month including original documentaries, theatrical releases and high-profile acquisitions.

The double features kick off on December 7 with "Stoked: The Rise and Fall of Gator," which follows legendary skateboarder Mark "Gator" Rogowski and "Tribute: A Rockumentary," which tracks tribute bands and their fans. On December 14 a two-part documentary, "The Opposite Sex: Rene's Story" and "The Opposite Sex: Jamie's Story," will detail the experiences of two people undergoing sex change operations -- one from female to male and the other from male to female. On December 21 the films are "Standing in the Shadows of Motown," the story of a group of Detroit musicians who played back-up for numerous Motown artists, and "Year of the Bull," which explores football through the eyes of a teen who might become the next big prospect. On December 28 the films featured are Michael Moore's look at America's fascination with firearms in "Bowling for Columbine" and Dana Brown's "Step Into Liquid," which explores the obsession of surfing.
