SHERMAN OAKS, CA -- Corner Stone Pictures Corporation, a developer, producer and distributor of film and TV entertainment products, announced today that they have contracted with OBX Capital Group, LLC to lead the company's investment activities. OBX has committed to funding all of the $6.9 million budgeted film "Retirement," a Corner Stone production. Described as "Grumpy Old Men" meets "Road Trip," "Retirement" will be filmed in Florida's South Beach, New Orleans and Las Vegas with veterans Charles Picerni directing and Tom Priestley lensing the film.

"We are very excited about this partnership with OBX Capital Group and especially glad to get rolling on 'Retirement,'" said the film's Executive Producer Michael Lerner. "We intend to use the proceeds to fund the production schedule for this feature film, set to start principal photography in February 2005."

OBX Capital Group's structure and model allows their clients to focus on their core business activities, leaving most investment and capital activities to be managed by OBX. Dale Scales, managing partner of OBX Capital, said, "OBX Capital invests in multiple businesses but the underlying theme is that our clients are poised for growth, they have experienced management teams, and they focus on quality products. Corner Stone Pictures fits this company profile perfectly and we are excited to help them achieve their financial and business objectives in these early stages."

While producing "Retirement" and "Betsy's Kindergarten Adventures," Corner Stone is developing a thriller, an action film and a romantic comedy, as well as the drama "Spaghetti Park," to be filmed next summer in New York City. "Betsy's Kindergarten Adventures" will be educational animation directed at the pre-school and early childhood school-year age groups and is scheduled for a fall 2006 TV release.
