First Two Projects in Development Close to On-Air Deals

LOS ANGELES, CA -- MGM Television Entertainment has entered into an exclusive agreement with newly-formed Maloof Television and the Maloof Family, it was announced today by Hank Cohen, President, MGM Television Entertainment. While other studios had been courting the world-renowned entrepreneurs for some time, ultimately the family opted for MGM. The Maloofs are known throughout the world for their Midas touch, which has made the Sacramento Kings basketball organization the NBA's #1 overall fan experience and the Palms Casino the hip, A-List destination of choice in Las Vegas. Under terms of the deal, Maloof Television will produce all forms of television entertainment, including reality, scripted drama and comedy. The partnership was spearheaded by Chris Nassif of Diverse Talent Group.

"This is a partnership that brings together the legendary MGM brand with the most sought-after entrepreneurial talent in the entertainment business," said Cohen in making the announcement. "We are extremely grateful that this classy, imaginative and innovative family has chosen the Lion to partner with them as they continue to expand their successful, ever-growing business empire."

"We are honored to be partnered with MGM and Hank Cohen in this exciting new venture, as our family extends its interests into the entertainment business," said Phil Maloof, speaking for the Maloof Family. "We are committed to the same level of excellence that we have achieved in our other businesses, and in keeping with our family philosophy we look forward to championing good ideas and good people."

The first two projects in development under the agreement between MGM and Maloof Television include a reality series which will plunge viewers into the exclusive entrepreneurial arena where the Maloofs have enjoyed spectacular success. The project was brought to the family by ICM and Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment, who will produce the show along with Executive Producer, Ben Silverman ("The Restaurant"). Maloof Television will also produce the series, which will feature the family as themselves on camera. The show will involve a competition with a very big payoff. MGM is already in discussions with networks which have expressed interest in the series.

The second project is entitled "Score." An on-air deal for the series is currently in negotiation, and the Maloofs will serve as executive producers. This series is the "ultimate party show," a sexy and provocative look into the world's most exclusive parties, clubs and events and the hip young revelers who attend them. Following a group of five sexy singles from one hot party scene to the next, "Score" will take viewers into the minds of party-goers all over the country.

MGM Worldwide Television Distribution handles global distribution of film and television product as well as co-productions for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc.
