RSVP to backlot@wifchicago.org Event 2 Title: BACKLOT SERIES at Towers Productions Event 2 Date: February 23, 2006 - Event 2 Time: 6:30 pm Event 2 Place: TOWERS PRODUCTIONS - 549 West Randolph Street, Ste. 300, Chicago Thursday, February 23, 2006 - Join Women In Film/Chicago's ongoing Backlot Series touring local production facilities and learning about their role in Chicago's production community. This month's visit is to TOWERS PRODUCTIONS - 549 West Randolph Street, Ste. 300, Chicago. Event starts at 6:30 pm. Since it's founding, TOWERS PRODUCTIONS has generated more than 500 hours of high-quality documentary television. This 24,000 sq. ft. facility is on the cutting edge of technology featuring 9 Avid Media Composer Adrenaline edit suites, 2 Avid Symphony finishing suites, 2 audio mastering suites utilizing Pro Tools|HD workstations and 3 Avid Xpress Pro workstations all collaborating on an Avid Unity Media Network with 6 Terabytes of storage and linked to a central machine core. In addition, 8 Apple Final Cut Pro editing workstations and a 6 workstation graphics department featuring Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects and Newtek Lightwave 3D complete Towers post production capabilities.
