Animation Events Coming up in New York City

Tuesday February 10, 2004, AVOID EYE CONTACT ANIMATION PANEL.
Meet the11 animators featured on the new Best of NYC Animation DVD, as they discuss the direction of Independent Animation in the age of self-distribution. Moderated by animator/historian John Canemaker. The animators are: Aleksey Budovsky, Patrick Smith, Signe Baumane, John Dilworth, Geroge Griffin, Bill Plympton, Fran Krause, Jesse Schmal, Michael Overbeck, John Schnall, PES. Thursday February 12, 2004. TV LUNCH: JOHN DILWORTH
Heres a chance for kids who dream of becoming cartoonists to meet a master. John Dilworth, independent animator and creator of the Academy nominated The Chicken from Outer Space will screen some of his work and chat with kids over a light lunch, for ages 6 and up, with adult. The Kitchen, 512 W 19th St. Admission $10.
