LOS ANGELES, CA -- Legendary producer and studio executive Robert Evans will make a rare personal appearance when he is interviewed in Hollywood by media expert Michael Levine on Thursday evening, May 20 from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. This one-night-only, off-the-record encounter with one of the industry's most provocative players will be presented by The Learning Annex at a landmark Hollywood location.

The audience is sure to be riveted as Evans revisits the peaks and valleys of his illustrious career and shares his favorite behind-the-scenes stories about Hollywood's most glittering stars. He'll reveal his hard-hitting philosophy and offer a candid look at the challenges and rewards of getting movies made. The audience will be the first to hear an excerpt from Evans' new book and will have the opportunity to engage Evans in a lively Question and Answer exchange. Plus: Rarely seen footage will be screened and Evans will raffle off ONE autographed copy of a special Library of Congress edition of "The Kid Stays in the Picture."

Robert Evans' unparalleled career at Paramount Pictures, as both studio head and producer, has yielded dozens of hits, such as: The Godfather I and II, Chinatown, The Odd Couple, Love Story, Serpico, Play it Again Sam, Alfie, The Great Gatsby, Romeo and Juliet, Rosemary's Baby, Urban Cowboy and last year's popular How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. He is the only living producer with two films selected for preservation by the Library of Congress: Chinatown and The Godfather. His many honors include a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and The Producers Guild's David O. Selznick Lifetime Achievement Award.

Evans's recently released biographical film, The Kid Stays in the Picture, and popular animated TV series, Kid Notorious, refocused attention on the roller-coaster career of this Hollywood stalwart and reminded everyone why Evans has remained one of Hollywood's most intriguing celebrities for more than four decades. Attendees can expect frank conversation and candid, adult language.
