TVN Entertainment to Support Cablevision's Industry-Leading Video On Demand Offering

Agreement Includes Select New Release and Library Films, Adult and Specialty Content

BURBANK, Calif. -- TVN Entertainment Corporation, a leading provider of on demand television programming, management and delivery services, today announced that it has reached an agreement with Cablevision Systems Corp. to deliver select new release and library films, adult, cable network and specialty content, including Mag Rack, to the MSO for its Video-On-Demand (VOD) service. The agreement will also give Cablevision the option of adding new products that TVN develops or offers in the future.


"Cablevision has been aggressive at rolling out advance digital services that include the industry's most diverse and robust array of on demand content," said Jim Riley, TVN SVP Sales and Business Development. "We are delighted to continue our relationship with Cablevision and look forward to enhancing the on demand component of their iO: Interactive Optimum(R) digital cable service."


Cablevision provides cable service to nearly 3 million customers in the New York metropolitan area. Approximately 900,000, or 30%, of these cable customers are iO: Interactive Optimum digital cable customers -- up from 216,545, or 6.5%, at the end of last year. iO offers customers access to more than 200 channels, including 50 premium movie channels, 45 channels of commercial-free digital music, more than 700 titles available on demand and other benefits.
