THE WRITERS PLACE SHORT STORY CONTEST WINNERS
It is with great pleasure The Writers Place announces the winners of the July 2005 through June 2006 Short Story contest. Admittedly, there were many well written, interesting, and inspiring stories; however, the following three manuscripts excelled:
First Place is Jacob M. Appel — "The Ataturk of the Outer Boroughs"
Second Place is Billy Maddox — "Fear Is a Powerful Motivator"
Honorable Mention goes to Donna Lisa — "Toucans of the Amazon"
