Award:
Grand Prize:
The winning screenwriter will work directly with Augusta Pictures
founder and producer Diana Osberg to develop the winning
screenplay for possible production. There is no guarantee of
production. Ms. Osberg will personally guide the writer through
the entire process of developing a script for production. The
winner will also receive a copy of the screenwriting bible “Making
a Good Script Great” by Linda Seger. |

The 2007 Augusta Pictures Screenplay
Contest provides a unique opportunity for a screenwriter to learn
and grow under the guidance of a film producer/script doctor. |

| Eligibility:
Submitted screenplays must be original
works, and the sole property of the applicant(s). Screenplays must
be unsold, unoptioned and unproduced. All entries must be in English
and feature-length only. Any genre is accepted. |

Entries for the Augusta Pictures Screenplay Contest must be
postmarked on or before October 15, 2007.
Screenplays will not be returned. We recommend making a photocopy of
your completed application for your records.
If a submitted screenplay becomes optioned or purchased between the
time of submission and the end of the judging period, that
screenplay will no longer be eligible.
Under no circumstances will substitutions of either corrected pages
or new drafts of the entered screenplay(s) be made.
Employees of Augusta Pictures and their immediate families are not
eligible.
All entries must be in English and
feature-length only. Any genre is accepted.
It is the writer’s responsibility to protect his/her script by
copywriting it and/or registering it with the Writer’s Guild of
America (WGA).
