This unique "storytelling" competition is designed to promote
understanding of African way of life through screenplays and
documentary projects and to create greater international
cooperation in bringing African subject matter and locals to the
screen. |

| Eligibility:
Screenplays and documentary outlines (in English and / or French) |
|
|
| Rules:
Screenplays should be 90 130 pages and based on African themes and characters, with at least 50% of the story set in Africa. Outlines for documentaries should not exceed 10 pages and meeting the same criteria are also eligible for submission. Ethnic or national origin for screenwriters and documentary filmmakers does not apply.
