The BlueCat Screenplay Competition Announces Winners

The BlueCat Screenplay Competition is proud to announce the 2002 winner, Colleen De Maio, author of THE CADDY. Selected from 580 scripts, this delightful reimagination of Billy Wilder's THE APARTMENT set in high school circa 2002 took our top prize of $5000. The ingenuity of the premise of THE CADDY expands wonderfully throughout the script, with bright set pieces fashioned out of whole cloth and witty, crisp dialogue Mr. Wilder I wager would appreciate to no end.

If you would like to contact Colleen to read her script and discuss representation, please call her at (805) 478-6201 or email her at colleen_demaio@yahoo.com

Every year, we select a very small number of finalists from which we choose our winner. All BlueCat finalists display a greatness in their scripts, and I would highly recommend reading all these gifted screenplays. I liked them all!
